Objectives are needs to be achieved in order to solve the identified problems.

For example, a student's objectives might be ...

• I will create a system that uses sheets for stock, sales and profit that are linked together
• My system will be password protected for security
• It will do automatic calculations
• It will produce graphs of results
• It will improve efficiency etc.

Students will need to design objectives that address the problems they have identified, otherwise the solution will require revision.
